What a year 2021 was, this one must better, surely. So let's get started on the right foot and explain what is happening for 2022 at Springfield Gamers. Queensland. You know we are in Australia, not the USA...
Firstly, regular gaming kicks off with monthly meets - Second Sunday each month. Any and all people and games are welcome. We host a lot of tabletop gamers, Roleplayers and some ad-hoc events.
Second, weekly gaming. Each Friday 6-10, we alternate between a local cafe and a local YMCA (Springfield Central, besides the high school) for board games, with open space for all other games.
February will see the club Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will likely coincide with a Bring n Buy event. AGM's are a great opportunity to volunteer for the club committee and ensure the future of Springfield Gamers endures for many years to come.
We are certainly look to reflect all the styles of games played at Springfield Gamers within our leadership, and look for volunteer boardgamers, roleplayers and tabletop gamers.
Finally Briscon will run in April, and maybe Springfield Gamers could be part of the action...
