About the event
Since its inception in 1987, Warhammer 40,000 has evolved into a worldwide sensation in tabletop gaming, inspiring TV shows and award-winning computer games.
Typically, two players assemble and paint science fiction armies set in the 41st Millennium, where humanity faces threats from alien forces and corrupt armies. The games follow a set of rules (currently in its 10th edition), with each army having its own unique set of rules.
Greater Springfield Gamers' Learn to Play days offer an excellent opportunity to begin exploring this hobby. Our community members will guide you through your first friendly games and assist you in building and painting your initial miniatures.
9am: Venue opens
10am - 1pm: 500pt learning games 'Combat Patrol'
1.30 - 4pm: 1000pt full-size games
