Our club president managed to wrangle a 3-day pass to Pax Australia to demo miniatures games.

If you get a chance and you love gaming, go. It’s amazing! The tabletop side is 100% about the conversations and experience of being present. The second hall (think aircraft hanger scale) had computer games .. amazing to see if your into that.

Special mention to those volunteers who helped Friday setup to move tables in, the Saturday 7am were in the hall for the final preparation, and again after the events packing down and cleaning the hall ready for @goodnastateschool students on Monday.

Club member Mike Painter ram an incredibly fun Come and Try Deadzone day at a local store in #brisbane.

There were 14 players across the day 3 playing their first games ever. 3 more played less than a handful. Peaking with ten players playing all at the same time.

Every game, painted army and store purchase scored a voucher and a lucky prize at the end of the day for Rowan and Aris scoring a 200pt Deadzone strike force or a bag of Marauders.

Congratulations again Mike on a cracking day of #tabletopgaming with #manticdeadzone, and remember #deadzoneislife

6 siege is a game that struggled with Covid increasing shipping costs and after a massive Kickstarter release..

Based on the popular Tom Clancy book and online first person shooter game, teams assault a building filled with defenders, traps, sensors to reach the objective; then one round remains for defenders to recapture objectives.

It’s intense, even at beginner mode. How the assaulting player combines strengths to overcome obstacles; can the defender keep their trumps hidden until the right moment?

If his Kickstarter edition is full of incredible single piece minis, several maps, modelled cameras, beautiful cardboard furniture and looks like great value.
